Los Angeles Police Department Press Release Re: 7/11 Armed Robbery Group, Jacuri Tobias Arrested, Additional Victims Sought

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating additional victims who may have been targeted by a group responsible for a series of armed robberies.
On April 18, 2025, a group started an armed robbery crime spree around 1:00 a.m. and ended around 11:00 p.m. The group targeted a total of five 7/11 stores in LAPD’s area as well in the cities of Baldwin Park and Pasadena. In each incident, the group would arrive in a stolen blue Hyundai Sonata where one individual would remain on the lookout and the others would enter the store to commit the armed robbery. They utilized a blue steel handgun with an extended magazine that is not custody.
On April 18, 2025, around 9:50 p.m., Alhambra Police Department initiated a pursuit of the group after they attempted to commit another robbery. The pursuit traveled into Downtown Los Angeles and LAPD Central Division took over the pursuit which resulted in the driver and two others taken into custody. One suspect fled on foot and remains outstanding.
The suspect arrested for 211 PC Robbery has been identified as 21-year-old Jacuri Tobias, Booking Number 7000960. A 15-year-old juvenile and a 17-year-old juvenile were also taken
into custody.

• April 18, 2025 at 5:09 a.m., 12900 block of Bess Avenue, Baldwin Park CA 91706
• April 18, 2025 at 8:46pm, 3500 block of West Temple Street, Los Angeles CA 9000
