The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Wednesday announced they are asking for the public’s help in identifying two “persons of interest.”

Do you know these two individuals connected to the murder of a Las Vegas teen?

On November 1, 2023, at approximately 2:05 p.m., LVMPD officers responded to reports of a fight involving students near a school in the 1900 block of Searles Avenue. Medical

personnel responded and transported 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis to UMC Hospital where he was pronounced deceased several days later.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify eight juveniles involved in the homicide. The individuals were arrested and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall for open murder.

Detectives still need help identifying two outstanding persons of interest in the homicide and are asking the public for assistance.
