Santa Ana MainPlace Mall employee fights off would-be thieves.
Surveillance video captured a Santa Ana mall cashier fighting off two would-be thieves.

Suspect 1: Male, Hispanic, 5’06” tall, thin build, shaved black hair, brown eyes, mustache, wearing a green button up long sleeve, black shorts, white long socks and black and red Jordan’s.
Suspect 2: Male, White, 6’00” tall, thin build, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black hat, gray sweater, black shorts and long knee high socks.
On 06/26/2023, the suspects entered a store inside MainPlace Mall. After selecting multiple items of merchandise valued at over $2,700, both suspects ran out of the store without paying. An employee chased after them and a physical altercation occurred over the property.
The cashier was able to recover all the stolen merchandise, however the suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
