A wheelchair-bound man has died after being shot in the head in North Las Vegas. The shooting occurred on Tuesday around 9 p.m. at an apartment in the 1700 block of Yale Street near Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive.

The shooting took place on Tuesday around 9 p.m. at an apartment located in the 1700 block of Yale Street, near Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive.

On Friday at around 7 p.m., North Las Vegas Police detectives were notified that the injured man had passed away at the hospital.

Willie Brown Jr., the suspect, was taken into custody on Tuesday at the Clark County Detention Center and will be rebooked on open murder charges, according to police.
