North Las Vegas Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of Casa Norte Dr. around 10 p.m. on Monday. Two women – one in her early 40s and the other in her late 50s – suffering from gunshot wounds were located at the scene and later declared dead.

Detectives would also discover multiple other victims, including two additional women in their mid-20s and a man in his early 20s. All three were pronounced dead.

A 13-year-old girl was also located, suffering from a gunshot wound. The girl was transported to UMC and remains in critical condition.

The suspect has been identified as 47-year-old Eric Adams, who fled the scene and led officers on a brief manhunt. North Las Vegas police initially located Adams at a business in the 1600 block of Dwayne Stedman Avenue, who was observed with a firearm. Adams then fled into the backyard of a nearby residence.

Police say he ignored officers’ commands to drop the gun before turning it on himself. He was declared dead at the scene.
