A woman allegedly burglarized a Las Vegas funeral home and removed a casket with a body inside it, dumping the remains in the process, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that detectives have arrested Suspect Patricia Sierra on alleged charges of grand larceny for an amount between $1,200 and $5,000, business burglary, and tampering with or disturbing human remains.
Detectives allege that Sierra broke into the Affordable Cremation & Burial Service of Las Vegas and stole a casket containing a human body. Police also allege that Sierra dumped the body from the casket outside the funeral home.
