San José Police Department Press Release Re: Peter Supnet and Edwin Dickerson III Arrested for Alleged Human Trafficking of Minors
On April 10, 2025, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a report of a battery that occurred at a hotel located in the 4100 block of Monterey Road. Two adult male suspects drove two sixteen-year-old female survivors to the location. One of the suspects told one of the survivors she was going to work for him and make him money. When the survivor tried to leave, the suspect proceeded to punch her. The survivor sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment on scene. Officers made contact and identified the suspects as Peter Supnet and Edwin Dickerson III.
The SJPD Special Victims Human Trafficking Task Force responded to the scene and immediately began a comprehensive investigation into the incident. During the course of the investigation, Detectives were able to gather evidence suggesting Suspect Supnet and Suspect Dickerson III were attempting to sexually traffic the two sixteen-year-old female survivors. Both survivors were provided with resources on scene.
Both suspects were taken into custody and later booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for crimes related to human trafficking of minors.
