The Kern County Sheriff’s Office reports that they arrested Resendo Tellez after reports that he was allegedly carrying a severed human leg and chewing on it.
Witnesses reported seeing Tellez talking to the victim a few minutes before the victim was struck by a train, killing him.
Tellez is alleged to have taken human remains from the scene of the crash before deputies arrived.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Resendo Tellez was arrested following reports alleging that he was carrying a severed human leg and chewing on it.
Witnesses stated that they had observed Tellez engaging in conversation with the victim just moments before the victim was fatally struck by a train.
It is alleged that Tellez took human remains from the site of the accident before law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.
