The video shows a melee erupting during kindergarten graduation in a Tennessee town.
Video obtained by news media shows adults and children fighting at a kindergarten graduation at an elementary school in Sommerville, Tenn., leading to several arrests, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Three people were arrested after the incident on May 15, 2024, at Buckley Carpenter Elementary’s gym, where hundreds of parents and children were present for the kindergarten graduation.
Deputies reported seeing a large group of adults fighting in the bleachers. One deputy detained a female who was punching another female. Despite being separated and placed in a hallway, the female returned to the gym to continue fighting.
It took several officers from different departments to break up the melee.
