A man identified as Sean Moses is in custody following an alleged road rage shooting in Havertown, Delaware County, that left a woman injured on Monday.
The incident occurred around 3:27 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Chester Pike.
Haverford Township Police Deputy Chief Joseph Hagan reported that the suspect fired 13 shots at a white Jeep Cherokee occupied by a woman in her 40s and her 10-year-old nephew. The bullets struck the vehicle’s headlight, hood, and windshield.

2000 block of West Chester Pike
On Monday, August 12, 2024, at 3:26 PM, the Haverford Township Police Department responded to the 2000 block of West Chester Pike for a road rage shooting incident. While officers were en-route, several reports were received that the suspect shooter was operating a black Lincoln SUV, possibly displaying PA registration plate MBJ4181, and was last seen traveling east on West Chester Pike.
Officers arrived on the shooting scene and located a white Jeep Cherokee with thirteen bullet holes in the headlight, hood and windshield. The vehicle was occupied by its operator and a ten-year-old child. The operator was injured from possible shrapnel or glass fragments, but the child was not. They were transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
Within minutes after the shooting incident, Radnor Township Police notified responding officers, through License Plate Readers (LPR), that the fleeing shooter’s vehicle was captured traveling east on West Chester Pike. Upper Darby Township Police observed the vehicle and stopped it at State Road and West Chester Pike in Upper Darby Township. Its operator was taken into custody without incident and a firearm was located on the front seat of the vehicle.
The Defendant, Sean Moses, of the 4400 block of Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA, B/M/30, is charged with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault and related charges.
