Suspect Wanted for Allegedly Stabbing Employee During Bank Robbery Caught on Camera

Police say the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim when she told him they had no money.

Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for allegedly stabbing employee during a bank robbery.

Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department Robbery Unit are requesting the public’s assistance with providing information on the suspect shown in the attached photographs and video.

On November 20th, 2024, at approximately 12:37PM, officers responded to the United Community Bank located at 1220 Caroline Street NE in reference to a robbery with a person stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting party who stated that an unidentified male had entered the business, went behind the employee counter at the location, and then demanded money from one of the employees.

The reporting party advised that when the suspect was notified that their was no money to provide, the suspect stabbed the employee in her stomach, and then fled from the location on foot.

The employee who been stabbed was alert, conscious, breathing, and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
