A good Samaritan and employees stopped an alleged burglar in their tracks at a Vallejo bridal shop.

On August 23, 2024, at approximately 3:48 A.M., the Vallejo Police Department’s (VPD) Patrol Division officers responded to a burglary in progress at a closed business located in the 900 block of Tennessee Street.

Two employees were alerted by their surveillance system that their business was being burglarized. The surveillance footage showed an unknown suspect shattering the glass door, entering the premises, and stealing various items.

The employees immediately drove to the scene and observed the burglar exiting the business through the shattered door. They detained the burglar and contacted VPD.

Our patrol officers arrived at the scene, arrested the burglar, and conducted a search, revealing that he possessed approximately $300 worth of stolen merchandise.

Officers completed a records check on the burglar and discovered he had a $25,000 local warrant for his arrest for…………BURGLARY.

The suspect was transported and booked into the Solano County Jail.

Thanks to the employees’ vigilance, our officers were able to arrest the suspect and help protect our local businesses!

El 23 de agosto de 2024, aproximadamente a las 3:48 a.m., los oficiales de la División de Patrulla del Departamento de Policía de Vallejo (VPD) respondieron a un robo en progreso en un negocio cerrado ubicado en la cuadra 900 de Tennessee Street.

Su sistema de vigilancia alertó a dos empleados de que estaban robando su negocio. Las imágenes de vigilancia mostraron a un sospechoso desconocido rompiendo la puerta de vidrio, ingresando al local y robando varios artículos.

Los empleados se dirigieron inmediatamente al lugar y observaron al ladrón salir del negocio por la puerta destrozada. Detuvieron al ladrón y contactaron a la policía.

Nuestros agentes de patrulla llegaron al lugar, arrestaron al ladrón y realizaron una búsqueda, revelando que poseía aproximadamente $300 en mercancía robada.
