Monterey police report officers arrested Daniel Keith Hutchens after he allegedly abducted 4-year-old Corbin Hutchens from a motel and led police on a pursuit.
Detectives said that the suspect allegedly threatened a witness with a firearm and ran over another involved party before fleeing.
Police from multiple agencies pursued the suspect to Castroville, where he crashed and fled on foot with the child victim.
Police say they used drones to help locate and arrest the suspect and safely recover the child.
