Police say that Bernard Polite's roommate was later found shot to death in their home.
Police report that Suspect Bernard Polite was allegedly caught on camera as he walked up to a church pastor and tried to shoot the pastor as he was giving his sermon. Fortunately, the gun did not fire and a Good Samaritan ran up and tackled the gunman.
Police say that during their investigation, they found a dead body believed to be Polite’s roommate dead from a gunshot in their home.
