A 25-year-old man has been arrested after three people were found shot to death at a home near Lodi June, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said. Steven Guerrero Jr. faces murder and burglary charges with a firearm enhancement, the sheriff’s office said on Monday.

🚨Triple Homicide Arrest🚨

On June 8, 2024, at approximately 6:33 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of E. Mettler Road in Lodi for a welfare check. Concerned family members reported they had not been able to reach the residents for over a week. Upon arrival, deputies made a tragic discovery—three adult residents were found deceased, each having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Detectives were called to the scene and began an active investigation. The investigation immediately led our detectives to believe that it was a targeted incident, and they had evidence leading them to a suspect. In an effort to not bring awareness or jeopardize the integrity of the investigation, the decision to not bring the incident to public awareness was made.

After months of diligent work, on September 14th, 2024, detectives arrested 25-year-old Steven Guerrero Jr. He faces three counts of Penal Code 187(a) – Murder, along with charges of Penal Code 459 – Burglary, and Penal Code 12022.53 – Firearm Enhancement.
