Louisville Metro Police Release Video Of Officer Shooting Alleged Carjacking Suspect Randall Allen

According to police, Allen allegedly ran into the Walmart on Outer Loop armed with a gun before attempting to carjack a woman in the pharmacy drive-thru.

Louisville Metro police have released the video show a police officer shooting alleged carjacking suspect Randall Allen at a Walmart pharmacy drive-thru.

The incident began when two men, Jeremy Bozarth and Randall Allen, led state troopers on a chase along the Gene Snyder Freeway. After crashing into another car, Bozarth was arrested while suspect Allen fled the scene.

According to police, Allen ran into the Walmart on Outer Loop armed with a gun before attempting to carjack a woman in the pharmacy drive-thru.

At that point, Officer Brandon Brinkley fired several shots into the vehicle, striking Allen, who was sitting in the passenger seat next to the driver.

Suspect Allen faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest, unlawful imprisonment, possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree robbery, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, wanton endangerment, and fleeing or evading police.

El incidente comenzó cuando dos hombres, Jeremy Bozarth y Randall Allen, lideraron a la policía estatal en una persecución a lo largo de la autopista Gene Snyder. Después de chocar contra otro automóvil, Bozarth fue arrestado mientras el sospechoso Allen huyó de la escena.

El sospechoso Allen enfrenta múltiples cargos, que incluyen resistencia al arresto, encarcelamiento ilegal, posesión de una sustancia controlada (metanfetamina), posesión de parafernalia de drogas, robo en primer grado, posesión de una pistola por parte de un delincuente convicto, peligro sin sentido y huir o evadir a la policía.
