Houston Police Department Press Release Re: Cash America Pawn Shop Robbery
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery.
On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at around 5:30 pm, an unknown male entered a pawn shop, located at the 7100 block of Bellfort, in Houston, Texas. The male first acted like a customer and then pulled out a handgun while demanding the money from the cash registers. The suspect then removed the money from the cash drawers and then fled in an unknown direction.
Suspect: Black male, 6’0 to 6’4, maroon hooded sweatshirt with “California Republic” printed on the front, dark pants, white and gray tennis shoes, and wearing a black backpack.
