The man accused of burglarizing more than 30 Las Vegas Valley businesses, mainly in the Chinatown area, works as a welder and allegedly stole more than $200,000 over several months.

Detectives Seek the Public’s Assistance

Update – Suspect Arrested

LVMPD detectives have arrested an individual connected to a series of commercial burglaries, which began in June of 2024. These burglaries affected the Spring Mountain Corridor and other businesses throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

A lead was developed and through various investigative measures, the suspect was identified as 34-year-old Cedric Hasan.

Hasan was taken into custody in the early morning hours of November 19, 2024, in a North Las Vegas, NV.

He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and charged with 34 counts of Burglary of a Business and Theft. This remains an ongoing investigation.

The LVMPD is currently investigating several commercial burglaries targeting restaurants and businesses throughout the valley.

These burglaries have occurred sporadically throughout the week but usually between the early hours of the morning. In recent surveillance obtained, an unknown race individual wearing a hoodie and large work gloves with a distinct walking gait is seen near a business prior to making forced entry. The individual is suspected of burglarizing over twenty businesses at this time.
