Deputies Release Video of Alleged Sacramento Looting Caught on Camera

The Sacramento County sheriff released surveillance footage showing Sacramento looting by a large group of people overrunning a Rio Linda 7-Eleven convenience store.

On October 8, 2023, the 7-Eleven convenience store on Elkhorn Boulevard in Rio Linda was terrorized after a nearby sideshow, when dozens of individuals vandalized and looted the store. Some of these suspects are believed to be from the Bay Area. Please take a moment and review the attached pictures and video.

This investigation is very active, and detectives from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Bureau are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115 or the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Tips leading to an arrest are eligible for a CASH reward of up to $1000, and tipsters remain anonymous. Tips are paid in cash, and you are never asked for identification.
