In November 2025, a multi-agency human trafficking investigation involving the Kenner Police led to a raid on a home on Moisant Street, the rescue of one woman from that location, and the arrest of at least two suspects. This operation was part of coordinated, simultaneous takedowns across Louisiana.

Details of the Operation
Date of Raid: The Kenner Police SWAT team executed a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of Moisant Street on November 6, 2025.
Location: The residence was reportedly used as a brothel and was part of a larger, multi-parish operation that also included two addresses in Baton Rouge.
Victims: Investigators rescued one woman from the Kenner location, and three victims were rescued in total across the broader investigation. The women were reportedly from Latin American countries, brought into the U.S. under false pretenses, and forced into prostitution. They were reportedly not allowed to leave the residences.
Agencies Involved: The operation was a collaborative effort, involving the Kenner Police Department, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Attorney General’s Office, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security, and others.
