Deputy City Marshals Seek Public’s Assistance
Detectives Working To Identify Woman In Connection With Stolen Debit Cards
The city of Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who is a suspect in two instances of debit cards being taken from inside parked cars at city parks.
On Aug. 23, a victim parked her vehicle in the parking lot of Children’s Memorial Park. Several hours later, the victim returned to her vehicle to find her front passenger window shattered and her purse missing. The victim’s stolen debit card was later used to purchase a $500 pre-paid gift card.
Sept. 21, 2023, a victim parked his vehicle within the parking lot of Majestic Park. A short time later, the victim’s girlfriend received a text message alert that her debit card had been used in an effort to purchase a $500 pre-paid gift card.
