U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert‘s son was arrested on Tuesday in connection to a string of vehicle trespassing and property thefts.

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s eldest son, Tyler Boebert, found himself in legal trouble as he was arrested on Tuesday, facing a total of 22 criminal charges, including five felonies, linked to a series of purported thefts in Colorado.

Tyler Boebert was charged with five alleged felonies, four of which relate to criminal possession of ID documents belonging to multiple individuals, along with an alleged conspiracy to commit offense, according to the Rifle Police Department.

Additionally, he faces alleged misdemeanor charges encompassing four counts of first-degree criminal trespassing of an automobile with an intent to commit a crime, four counts of identity theft and possession with intent to use, as well as two charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Moreover, he was cited for three petty offenses related to thefts valued less than $300.

Felony Arrest Connected to Recent String of Vehicle Trespasses and Property Thefts

On February 27, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers with the Rifle Police Department arrested Tyler Jay Boebert, 18. The arrest comes after a recent string of vehicle trespass and property thefts in Rifle.

Boebert is facing the following charges: four felony counts of Criminal Possession ID Documents – Multiple Victims, one felony count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

All suspects are considered innocent until adjudicated guilty in a court of law.
