The man in this video didn’t run away—he appeared to move toward the gunfire.
Many people online believe his actions may have drawn the shooter’s attention away from others, potentially giving innocent people precious seconds to escape. Authorities have not confirmed that account, but it’s why so many are calling him a hero. 🙏
Police say 3 people were killed and 5 others were injured after a gunman opened fire outside an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. The suspected shooter is also dead.

Twin Falls Police Department Press Release Re: Mass Shooting at In-N-Out Burger
Today at approximately 2:29 PM, officers with the Twin Falls Police Department, along with law enforcement partners from surrounding agencies, responded to the area of In-N-Out Burger for a report of an active shooter.
Multiple individuals have been transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center. Tragically, there have been fatalities. We are currently working to notify next of kin, and additional details will be released when appropriate.
The suspect in this incident is deceased, and there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time. There is a lot of misinformation going around on social media about the shooter and their identity. We would ask that people refrain from sharing information in an attempt to not share misinformation.
The area around In-N-Out Burger and the Twin Falls Visitor Center remains closed while law enforcement and first responders continue to secure and process the scene. We ask the public to please avoid the area and allow emergency personnel to continue their work.
The Perrine Bridge has reopened to traffic entering and leaving Twin Falls.
