Mob of 20 Suspects Allegedly Trying to Rob Al-Amira Jewelry Stopped by Gunfire From Owner

As the mob tried to force entry into the store, the owner fired a shot from a gun that frightened them off.

The Anaheim Police Department is investigating after the Al-Amira Jewelry store on South Brookhurst Street was attacked by a mob of about suspects that was caught on camera.

The surveillance video shows the mob arriving in broad daylight, accompanied by approximately five getaway vehicles. All appeared to be wearing hoodie-style sweatshirts and face coverings.

As the mob tried to force entry into the store, the owner fired a shot from a gun that frightened them off. The suspects then fled the scene in their vehicles.

El Departamento de Policía de Anaheim investiga el ataque a la joyería Al-Amira, ubicada en la calle South Brookhurst, por una turba de aproximadamente 10 sospechosos, captado por una cámara.

El video de vigilancia muestra a la turba llegando a plena luz del día en unos cinco vehículos. Todos parecían llevar sudaderas con capucha y mascarillas.

Cuando la turba intentó entrar a la fuerza en la tienda, el dueño disparó un arma de fuego que los ahuyentó. Los sospechosos huyeron del lugar en sus vehículos.
