The Oakland Police Department reports that the Eddy Cash 4 Gold shop owner shot five robbers, killing two in a shootout.
Oakland Police Interim Deputy Chief Nick Calonge said the shooting occurred after the five suspects entered and “began to assault the employees inside.”
Police said that an employee of the shop was also wounded in the shootout.
