Florida court records show Pedro Pablo Linares was indicted on charges of first-degree murder and armed burglary for the alleged April 2025 killing of his sister, Beatriz Linares-Calamita.

Details of the case:

The crime: Florida prosecutors report that in April 2025, home surveillance video allegedly captured Linares, wearing a mask and gloves, entering his sister’s home in the Fontainebleau neighborhood and shooting her multiple times. The attack reportedly stemmed from a family dispute over finances and housing.

Arrest and extradition: Linares fled the scene but was later arrested in Louisiana and extradited to Miami-Dade.
