The San Francisco Police Department stopped an auto burglary in its tracks by putting eyes in the sky last month. SFPD drone pilots watched thieves break into a car in Twin Peaks and coordinated with officers on the ground, who then chased and disabled the vehicle, arresting the suspects.
The incident was caught on camera by the police drone.
