San Jose Police Department Press Release: Stolen Vietnam War Memorial Recovered
Today at approximately 1:40 PM, officers responded to a report of a stolen memorial statue from the Vietnamese Heritage Garden located in the 1400 block of Roberts Avenue.
Through the coordinated efforts of responding officers and the Neighborhood Quality of Life Unit, the statue was successfully located and recovered.
We recognize the importance of this memorial to our community and appreciate the assistance provided throughout this incident. The investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional details will be released as appropriate.
