Santa Ana Police Department Press Release Re: Arrest of Brian Moran and Starla Collaso
Earlier this week, officers responded to a café after receiving a report of a robbery. An employee reported that a man and woman entered the business, simulated having a gun, and threatened to shoot her. The suspects then went behind the counter, removed cash from the register, stole a laptop computer, and fled.
Officers immediately canvassed the area and located both suspects. Brian Moran (29) of Garden Grove and Starla Collaso (22) of Anaheim were arrested and booked into the Santa Ana Jail, and the stolen property was recovered.

Under our justice system, every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The fact that the defendant has been charged with a criminal offense is not evidence of guilt.
