The Anaheim Police Department is investigating after the Al-Amira Jewelry store on South Brookhurst Street was allegedly attacked by a mob of about 22 suspects that was caught on camera.
The surveillance video shows the mob arriving in broad daylight, accompanied by approximately five getaway vehicles. All appeared to be wearing hoodie-style sweatshirts and face coverings.
As the mob tried to force entry into the store, the owner fired a shot from a gun that frightened them off. The suspects then fled the scene in their vehicles.
