Shameless and NCIS Actor Nolan Freeman Arrested in Connection with Jan 6 Riot

According to records, Nolan Freeman faces four charges, including disorderly conduct within a Capitol building.

Government documents indicate that the FBI apprehended Nolan Freeman, an actor from Nevada known for his appearances on various television shows, for his purported involvement in the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

According to the documents, Nolan Freeman was taken into custody on March 19 in Carson City.

With credits including roles in shows like “NCIS,” “The Rookie,” “Days of Our Lives,” and “Shameless,” as well as the film “Devil’s Night,” Freeman’s arrest stems from a grand jury’s examination of airline records. These records revealed Freeman’s travel from Sacramento to Washington, D.C., on January 4, 2021, with a return to northern Nevada on January 8.

The FBI’s investigation further revealed Freeman’s phone’s presence inside the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 incident, along with footage from various surveillance cameras within the building.

According to records, Freeman faces four charges, including disorderly conduct within a Capitol building.

The FBI reports they have arrested over 1,300 individuals for offenses tied to January 6, with over 450 facing charges of assaulting or obstructing law enforcement. The most severe sentence handed down so far is 14 years, given to a suspect who hurled a chair at a line of officers.
