Police have identified the suspect as Isaac Ross, also known as “Kendall Ross.” According to authorities, Ross entered the Panera Bread and caused a disturbance by shouting and knocking items off the counter.

Witness Natalie Wiersma, who recorded the incident, said it appeared Ross was demanding a phone. “The suspect was yelling at the workers, and they looked confused, saying, ‘We don’t have your phone,'” Wiersma recalled.

At one point, Ross threw what was later identified as a smoothie at the employees, prompting several customers to intervene. Ross reportedly yelled a racial slur at one customer before continuing his disruptive behavior. As Ross knocked items off the counter, one customer attempted to restrain him.

“The next guy actually stepped in to stop Ross from attacking anyone further, trying his best to hold him down,” Wiersma said.

In the video, an employee can be seen coming from behind the counter and hitting Ross over the head with a pan.

“That employee is my personal hero,” Wiersma said. “It was definitely effective.”

Ross eventually fled the scene before Glendale Police could arrive. A short time later, however, he returned and caused another disturbance, during which he assaulted an at-risk male victim, who sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are actively seeking information about Ross’s whereabouts. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Glendale Police Department at (303) 759-1511.
