Anthony G. Bechand Wanted by Cohoes Police For Alleged Murder of Woman

Investigators advise the public that the suspect, Anthony G. Bechand, age 53, remains at large and may be armed and dangerous. Bechand is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. His clothing description is currently unknown. He is believed to have been traveling in a white 2024 Chevrolet Silverado.
That vehicle was located earlier today, September 14, 2025, on County Route 60 at the intersection of County Route 86 in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County.
