Three bounty hunters are facing felony charges, accused of trying to arrest a man for a crime he did not commit.

According to the victim Hussein Alsaadi, he was forcibly taken by three men who mistook him for a wanted fugitive.
Authorities say Dallas police arrested the actual fugitive Hussein Alsaaidi for he alleged murder of Lafayette Robinson. Alsaaidi was later released from jail by a judge pending trial. Police say Alsaaidi cut off his ankle monitor and fled the country.

On February 21, 2024, Hussein Alsaaidi, 21, was arrested and charged with Capital Murder.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Lafayette Robinson.

On February 13, 2024, at about 6:35 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 11100 block of Ables Lane.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a male victim lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injury.
The victim is not being identified at this time, pending next of kin notification.
This investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 024418-2024.
