Dallas Police Department Press Release Re: Kedric McDonald Shooting
On November 24, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Commerce Street.
The Department can confirm that an officer-involved shooting occurred after officers confronted an armed suspect at a disturbance where multiple people were shot.
The suspect died at the scene. One victim died at the scene and others were transported to the hospital in stable condition. No officers are injured.
