DeKalb County Police Officer David Rose Killed in Shootout with Active Shooter at CDC

Police say the gunman was angry with the CDC and alleging the COVID-19 vaccine made him sick.

DeKalb County Police report that Officer David Rose was shot and killed by an active shooter at the CDC building on the Emory University campus.

Police say he was later found dead from a gunshot wound. It is not known if the gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot or from gunfire from police.

Police say the gunman was angry with the CDC and alleged the COVID-19 vaccine made him sick.
