San Jose Police Department Press Release Re: Fugitive Kevin Le
On April 1, 2025, at approximately 3:57 AM, San José Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a residence in the 90 block of Sunset Court for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The unidentified suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.
SJPD Homicide Unit Detectives immediately began a thorough investigation and identified five suspects: Lawrence Eti, Rodolfo Lopez Pinon, Irma Ordonez, Michael Tran, and Kevin Le. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for all suspects.
On June 3, 2025, Detectives located and arrested Suspect Eti and Suspect Ordonez in the city of San José. Suspect Lopez Pinon was already in custody for an unrelated crime and subsequently booked for murder.
On July 14, 2025, Detectives located and arrested Suspect Tran in the city of San José.
All suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for murder. 25-year-old Suspect Kevin Le who resided in the city of San José is currently outstanding. The SJPD Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in providing any information that can lead to the apprehension and arrest of Suspect Le.
