Nashville Police Trying to ID Man for Allegedly Pistol-Whipping Victim

Metro Nashville police are searching for a man allegedly involved in an altercation that escalated into an alleged pistol-whipping in late January. According to authorities, the incident occurred on Porter Road on January 28th.

The victim was engaged in a verbal dispute with another individual in a parking lot when the suspect approached and began recording the argument. Despite the victim’s request to cease filming, the situation escalated, leading to a confrontation where the suspect allegedly struck the victim in the eye with a pistol.

Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored Dodge Dart with purple detailing on the bumper. Emergency medical personnel provided treatment to the victim at the scene for injuries sustained during the altercation.

Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is urging anyone with information about the suspect, pictured in available footage, to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Public cooperation is vital in apprehending the individual responsible and ensuring the safety of the community.
