The Providence Police Department has released surveillance video of the individual they believe to be the gunman involved in a mass shooting at Brown University that left two people dead and nine injured. The suspect remains at large as of late Saturday night.

Suspect Description: The individual is described as a male, possibly in his 30s, dressed entirely in black. Witnesses reported he may have been wearing a camouflage mask.

Video Details: The released video footage is from an external camera and shows the suspect walking away from the Barus and Holley engineering building, where the shooting occurred. The suspect’s face is not visible in the video, but authorities hope someone might recognize his gait or clothing.

Incident Details: The shooting took place in a classroom where students were taking final exams, killing two students and injuring nine other people.

Manhunt: A massive manhunt involving hundreds of officers from multiple agencies, including local police, Rhode Island State Police, the FBI, and the ATF, is currently underway. A shelter-in-place order remains in effect for the university and surrounding areas.
