San Jose Police Arrest Devon Sim for Alleged Narcotics Trafficking

Police say during the execution of the search warrants, officers located evidence of narcotics manufacturing and sales, including approximately 72 pounds of cocaine.

The San José Police Department has arrested an adult male suspect following a lengthy narcotics investigation into a large-scale narcotics trafficking operation.

Devon Sim was identified as the primary suspect responsible for the narcotics operation.

On June 25, 2025, with the assistance of the SJPD Violent Crimes Enforcement Team (VCET), Street Crimes Unit, and the Covert Response Unit (CRU), SJPD Metro Unit Officers executed search warrants at two associated residences: one located in the city of San José and one located in the city of Milpitas.

During the execution of the search warrants, Officers located evidence of narcotics manufacturing and sales, including approximately:

– 72 pounds of cocaine
– 2.5 pounds of crack cocaine
– 1 pound of MDMA
– 1 ounce of fentanyl
– $85,000 in cash

The narcotics seized had a street value of approximately $4 million dollars.

Suspect Sim was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for crimes related to the possession, sale, and transportation of illegal narcotics.
