We’re deeply saddened by the loss of one of our valued staff members. Priscilla was an excellent dispatcher and a leader in her community. Our thoughts go out to her friends and family.

Yesterday we learned the tragic news that one of our own, 9-1-1 Communications Dispatcher Priscilla Jones was killed on her way to work when she was involved in a head-on vehicle collision. A dispatcher for over 7 years as a Law Enforcement and Medical Dispatcher as well as a Communications Training Officer, Priscilla took great pride in her work and being able to help those around her.

We will always hear her calming voice and how professional and compassionate she was with her callers. She provided much-needed laughter to the rest of us in our downtime.

Priscilla was certainly proud to be a dispatcher, but she’d tell you that her biggest achievement was being a wife and mother to 3 beautiful children.

Our hearts will remain heavy with her loss, and our deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
