The Pursuit and Shooting: Police say Robinson attempted to flee on foot and ignored commands. During the chase, he allegedly dropped a loaded, unserialized “ghost gun” and then tried to retrieve it. Fearing for their safety, officers (identified as Officer Ruben Rillon and Officer Kyle Ribera) fired their weapons, striking Robinson multiple times.
Outcome: Robinson was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No officers were injured.
