Former Trump spiritual adviser and Texas megachurch pastor Robert Morris pleaded guilty on October 2, 2025, to five felony counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child. Morris was sentenced to 10 years in prison under a plea agreement but will serve only six months in jail.
Morris, founder of the prominent Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, pleaded guilty in Osage County District Court in Oklahoma to charges stemming from the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl in the 1980s.
