😬🫢 NBC10 Boston reports that a police sergeant is facing department discipline for allegedly using a friend’s handicapped placard. She immediately retired.
A Medford police sergeant is under investigation and was placed on administrative leave in June 2025 for repeatedly misusing a disability parking placard belonging to her elderly mother, according to NBC10 Boston and YouTube reports. An internal investigation found the sergeant used the placard on multiple occasions to park in accessible spots at the police station. The investigation also found she lied about using the placard.
